Short Description
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2026) will be conducted by IIT Guwahati. The online application process has started from 28 August 2025 and will continue till 28 September 2025 (Phase I) and 09 October 2025 (with late fee).
GATE 2026 is a national-level entrance examination for admission into M.Tech / Ph.D. / Higher Education Programs and also used for PSU recruitments. Candidates must read the full notification carefully before applying online.

Exam Instructions
📷 Photograph Guidelines:
- Recent Passport Size Color Photo with White Background.
- Face should cover at least 75% of the photo.
✍️ Signature Guidelines:
- Draw a rectangular box 2 cm × 7 cm on A4 size paper.
- Sign with Black/Blue pen in running handwriting inside the box.
👍 Thumb Impression Guidelines:
- Draw a rectangular box 3 cm × 5 cm on A4 size paper.
- Mark Left Thumb Impression inside the box.
